Top 9 Beauty Products of 2017

Well, 2017 is wrapping up and coming to an end. While everyone is posting their top 9 instagram photos, I couldn't help but take a look at my top 9 beauty products of this year. 2017 has been a real coming of age year, I turned 28, got married, flew all over the world, got a promotion and now moving into a new home on New Years Day! I've been trying to do everything with love, love for the people around me and most importantly love for myself. With that, means making good choices about what I put on my skin.

I have anything but perfect skin, hormones still torment my life.. Wasn't this supposed to end in my late twenties? But I've been able to keep a pretty normal balance otherwise and these are 9 of my favorite products this year.

Top 9 Beauty Products of 2017

I kind of felt like this product was my savior for everything. As some of you may know, I have eczema but since switching to more natural products I haven't had any flare ups in over a year. When I do feel some dryness coming on I reach for MOA Green Balm. I even let my hubby use it in dry winter months. Not only is just to soothing to put on but it also takes off eye makeup like nobody business. It's so gentle and leaves me face feeling so nice and soft after use.

This highlighter. . ugh. I was obsessed with highlighters and then once I switched over to natural products and found out how much talc and toxic stuff is in a lot of cosmetic highlighters, I couldn't find anything that worked for me. I don't even know how I found out about feeling younger but all I have to say is "beam me up scotty" because now I am glowiiiing. The best part is that this stuff is good for my skin. A little goes a very long way as far as use.

I love Glossier, the tagline for this gem is More Skin, Less Makeup. Can a a makeup product help you find yourself? Because if so, this did it for me. I really began to appreciate my skin once I started using this. No, I don't look like a porcelain doll when I wear this, I look like me, in all my Amanda Lee glory. The formula is so light weight it just feels like it becomes one with you. Paraben free and cruelty free!

This one actually slid into 2017 very late after my friend got me this product for Christmas. From the moment I opened the jar, I knew it would be a match made in heaven. I love the light cucumber tint to it because it soothes red areas. It smells good but not overpowering and it glides on so easy. The mask dries firmly and it really feels like healing is happening underneath. In 2018, this will surely be in heavy rotation.

This is a splurge, but I only use it for special occasions. In fact, I'm wearing it as I type this. Tomorrow I'm bringing in the New Year and I want to be fresh-faced. Literally, not going to be wearing makeup, so I'm kicking up my vibrancy. This is great for all skin types and has no toxic bumbojumbo. I feel like a badass when I wear it, some people eat caviar, I use Fresh face masks.

First, openly stating I do not have any sponsorships with any of these companies. I genuinely love these products and Ole Henriksen has stolen my heart. I believe to get the best experience out of some products you should be using the items that were made in tangent. If I was going to make cosmetics, I would want complimenting products and that's what I've found to be true with Ole.

I love how my skin feels when I use these products, they're all non-irritating and made naturally. I can see myself using this brand for years to come. I also have more of them items but this list would be too long!

I hope you all enjoyed my round up but more importantly, I hope you enjoyed 2017 and may the best things await you in the new year. Here's to 2018!

xx
