Anyone who knows me will tell you, I love coffee. I even have a coffee cup tattooed on me. While coffee has plenty of benefits, is delicious and comforting it can also have some not so great effects. Luckily I've created a list to help you to drink coffee efficiently, so you can keep enjoying that liquid gold.
1. Drink Coffee through a Straw.
Yes, do it. Reach for that cup or bottle Now is your time to enjoy the kick to get you through your day or maybe your night. But first, grab a straw. Coffee can leave unpleasant stains on your teeth. A simple way to avoid this is by using a straw. This will be a lot easier when coffee is not scolding hot so either let your coffee cool down or ask your barista to make it "not too hot." Caffeine, like it or not, is a diuretic. Due to this, you'll be releasing more fluids than what is beneficial for your body. Put the hydration back into your skin with a facial serum, so that your makeup doesn't settle into fine lines. This step could keep you from looking like a mess before 3 pm. Depending on when you drink your coffee, this step will come before or after. I personally like to get ready while my coffee is brewing in my kitchen. 3. Mint Up.
Take notice, mint up. Do not chew gum in an effort to relieve coffee breath. There is nothing efficient about gum. Actually, it does quite the opposite. When you pop a piece and chew away, you activate your digestive system which will emit gasses that help break down food. Since there is no food going down, the gas will come up and cause bad breath.
The easiest fix for coffee breath is to have a mint, I like to keep a roll in almost all my bags so I'm ready for any coffee time after-math.

In order to drink coffee efficiently, you have to drink plenty of water. To be honest, to do anything efficiently you should drink water. After I drink my daily cup of coffee I go straight for some water, I love the balance of the two and I feel ready to start my day.
